FENWAY PARK INFORMATION
FENWAY PARK
FENWAY PARK
TIPS: Roof Deck are around $30-standing room, $50 seating....Have own private bathrooms and concessions -also separate entrance - on the backside of the ballpark. Great site lines along RF Roof. Try the RF Roof Standing room as well, (though make sure you bring a friend to save your spot if you have to go buy food or what-not)(Standing room spots are first come first serve and availability based).
Try the Coke Deck Standing room or Coke Deck seating. I did Coke Deck Standing room and it was great.
You can try calling the Red Sox 9 number day of game or week of the game you want to see and ask if they have any Monster seats . RF roof tables, or Standing Room Monster seats. Sometimes they have some.
You can also try Pavillion Deck Standing room. Pretty good view from up there too.
there's also a bar up there with a TV
Bleachers are the most fun you'll have in the park. its the blue collar section for blue collar prices. The bullpen view is great you can watch the pitchers warming up and yell out cat-calls to the visiting pitcher. IMHO Center Field Bleachers are the best. toward the corner.
LF is good too up by the wall by the Monster. The foul line comes right up to the boxes..so its closer to the field.
Take a fenway park tour....it is a pretty neat experience and you get to sometimes go up on the green monster as well and learn the history of this iconic ballpark.
There is also a bar on Lansdowne street, the Bleacher Bar that is right behind the monster. There are some tables that look out over the Ballpark through windows.
Game days its packed, so go on a day when there's no game or on a travel day/away day. You can get a seat right up by the window and watch the grounds crew working on the field or just enjoy the view while you dine.
Tips for taking the "T" to the ballpark:
Park at the Orange Line (if you're north of Boston)
Try Oak Grove or Sullivan Square, cheap lots $5.50 all day. beats $40 at the stadium or even 10 minutes walk from the stadium.
You can take Orange line North Station, connect to the Green Line there (Lower Platform) on the Right. Take a "E" Car to Copley - and switch to a B,C,D, @ Copley to Kenmore, or wait for a "C" car and take it right to Kenmore.
Buy your return Charlie ticket - at North Station, or when you get to Kenmore. No point in waiting in a huge line after at the kiosks. Or use a charlie card with extra values on it.
Exiting the park to the "T": Avoid Kenmore Square....lines B,C,D.
Walk down Exit Gate E or B and Walk down Lansdowne Street to Jillians.
Turn L onto New Ipswich St At Jillians and walk around to the right , paralleling the Mass Pike (which will be on your left.) You'll see the Prudential Tower up ahead straight ahead on New Ipswich St. Walk Down New Ipswich and it will eventually curve back to the right past an old church and come out at Boylston St. right across from Berklee. Cross over to the front of Berklee and then turn Left onto the first Side street (Belvedere St.) (follow on googlemaps.com on your phone) walk down Belvedere past P.F. Changs Chinese food with the big Horses out front, and then over toward the Prudential "T" stop ("E") Line. The "E" line does not go through Kenmore Square, so will be less crowded and sometimes you even get a seat. it sure beats waiting in line to get your ticket and then wait again for 3 trains that are jammed packed on the B,C,D, at Kenmore.
TIP #2: You can park at the Agganis Arena for $2 an hour , I think its a $10 max charge for the day, down Common Ave by Agganis arena and either walk or take the "B" line to Kenmore or the stop right before Kenmore (Blandford St.)
Enjoy Fenway!!!!
Also Cheaper Game Programs are sold outside the ballpark.
(Boston Baseball) They are essentially the same as the more expensive programs inside the park but a couple minor differences.

MBTA COMMUTER RAIL - LOWELL LINE SCHEDULE
MBTA COMMUTER RAIL SCHEDULE - LOWELL LINE
(WINCHESTER AND WEDGEMERE)
WINCHESTER COMMUTER RAIL LOWELL LINE SCHEDULE - MBTA
The Lowell Line serves both Winchester and Wedgemere Stops in Winchester and Anderson Woburn in Woburn.
There are a couple of Express trains from Anderson Woburn direct to Boston, Anderson also has a larger parking lot and is only a 10 min drive from Winchester.
Winchester Center has limited parking, and is better as a bicycle to work station, walk to work station, or drop off station. Permits can be acquired from the town to park in specific lots. The Bus #134 Services Winchester Station as well along Main Street from Woburn. No express trains from Winchester ---local stops only.
Wedgemere has a small parking lot that fills up rather quickly. Best for bicycle to work, walk to work, or drop offs/pick ups. No express service. Local service only.
The F on the schedule means you have to flag down the train driver, and make sure he sees you on the platform at certain times.
Note:
The MBTA Runs Holiday Service on occasion, the day of Holidays, or weekend of Holidays, and sometimes the day after.
The Mbta posts announcemnts on the scrolling screens when the train is coming, and also if there are delays and other information. Watch for the scrolling screens at the station platforms
The MBTA has boards in North Station for the Track Number and post the train times about 10 minutes to 15 min before boarding. They also make announcements on the speaker.
There are ticket windows for Commuter Rail in the center of North Station as well as self service ticket kiosks. One has CASH ONLY, one is Charge or Cash. There is a Zone list posted on the machines so you can find out which zone your stop is. You push the button for commuter rail, then the zone and it gives you your price. You put in the cash or swipe your card (make sure you swipe it in and out quickly or it might say an error) (Try it again and it might work). If it persists ask an agent for help. Note: the kiosks give dollar coins as change so if you put in a $20 and only get a 1 way ticket , you'll get about 15 1 dollar coins as change. Its great if you collect the president dollars, but if not, make sure you put the right amount of change in or don't use as high a bill.)
There is a customer service window in North Station between the Main Ticket Area and the Makers Mark Bar. You can ask just about anything here, pick up a pocket schedule, and inquire about which track number ahead of time. You can ask about lost and found here if you lost something.
The restroom at north station is around the corner to the right of the McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts, down past the pro shop It is the only restroom in the station and not always the cleanest.
For a cleaner restroom option, try the Halftime Pizza across the street (Go out the doors by the McDonalds) turn Left. and walk down past the Bobby Orr Statue and Halftime is across the street down from the 7 Eleven. Good, cheap pizza slices too. (Cheese and Pepperoni)
There is a 24 hour 7 Eleven across the street for your convenience.
North End is about a 5 minutes-10 min walk from North Station. No need to take the Green Line to Haymarket (1 stop) Save your money and walk!
Marriott Hotel-Financial District/Quincy Market/Waterfront/Aquarium are about a 10-20 minute walk, depending on how fast you typically walk , so depending on the weather you might consider saving the money and walking.
Beacon Hill-Boston Common - Is about a 15-20 min walk from the Garden depending on how fast you walk.
Museum of Science is a 10 minute walk from the Garden.
Lechemere Garage and Lechemere Cambridge Galleria is a 15-20 min walk from the Garden
Government Center, City Hall Plaza-is about a 10 minute walk from the Garden
Government center Garage is 5-10 minute walk down the side streets or the Greenway to Haymarket "T" station
Haymarket "T" staiton/bus station is only a 5-10 min walk down the greenway
The "T" is sometimes delayed in Winter due to snow or icy conditions on the tracks, plan for delays in winter months, especially during storms.
Have an alternate plan just in case.
Parking at Subway Parking lots is $5.50
Garages I believe aree $7.50? or maybe $8 now?
Some commuter rail stations have metered parking, or paid lots, some have free lots.
But space is first come first served and fill up fast on weekday mornings.
